The Childcare Centre was originally established in 1986 by a group of parents seeking formal child care options for working parents, families in crisis, people without a support network or respite for parents needing a break in the Bourke district.
Bourke Childcare Centre is licensed for 39 places under the Department of Education and Communities and regulated under the Education and Care Services National Law and Regulations.
- Permanent Care - children are booked in for specific full day/s and/or session/s
- Casual Care - children are booked in at least 24hrs* prior to attendance (phone ahead) for any full day and/or session/s
- *Prior booking through the admin office is essential to ensure the required staff ratios are met.
